Pricing & Billing

How does Syntri charge for usage?

Syntri charges a flat monthly subscription based on your chosen plan. Each plan includes a set number of transactions per month and a bundle of features suitable for your organisation size.

What counts as a "transaction"?

A transaction refers to one invoice processed through Syntri, regardless of the number of PO lines or GRN lines associated with it.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No. All plans are month-to-month unless you choose to commit annually for a discount.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes - annual billing comes with a 10-15% discount depending on the plan.

Plans & Transaction Limit

What happens if we exceed our transaction limit?

You'll receive an automated alert at 80% and 100% of your monthly limit. You can upgrade your plan instantly, add a temporary transaction bundle, or allow overage at a small per-transaction fee.

Which plan is right for us?

FREE is for testing and small teams (< 100 txns). STARTER is for SMEs (< 5,000 txns). GROWTH is for mid-market teams (< 25,000 txns). ENTERPRISE is for large, multi-entity organisations.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes - upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply from the next billing cycle.

What features does the FREE plan include?

Manual upload, automated matching, dashboards and up to 100 transactions per month.

Do all plans include the same matching engine?

Yes. All customers get the full Syntri matching engine. Higher plans unlock more:

  • Transactions
  • Integrations
  • SSO
  • Audit trails
  • Priority support

What support do we get on each plan?

  • Free: Email support
  • Starter: Email + knowledge base
  • Growth: Priority email, scheduled onboarding
  • Enterprise: Dedicated success manager + SLA

Do you charge for onboarding?

No - onboarding is free for all plans. Enterprise clients may have custom integration or migration costs if needed.

Data & Integration

Do I need to integrate my ERP to use Syntri?

No. You can use manual uploads on any plan. Integrations are optional.

Which integrations are available?

Syntri supports SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Sage, and QuickBooks (upload-based). Custom APIs are also available on Enterprise plans.

How does Syntri handle multi-entity setups?

The Enterprise plan supports:

  • Multiple entities
  • Multiple currencies
  • Multiple data streams
  • Centralised dashboards

Security & Compliance

Is Syntri GDPR and POPIA compliant?

Yes. Syntri follows strict data protection controls including encryption, access control, data residency selection and audit trails.

Where is our data hosted?

Currently UK/EU region.

Who owns the data uploaded to Syntri?

You do - the client always owns their data. Syntri processes it only for reconciliation.

Upgrades, Downgrades & Cancellations

Can we cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime with no penalties for monthly contracts.

Will we lose our data if we cancel?

No. You can export all reports and data before closing the account. Syntri deletes remaining data within 90 days per GDPR/POPIA.

How easy is it to upgrade?

One click. No downtime. No configuration needed.

How long can we use the FREE plan?

There is no time limit - stay on the free plan as long as you stay within 100 transactions/month.

Does the FREE plan require a credit card?

No. No credit card is required to sign up.

What if we want help setting up the free plan?
